We had a lovely meal late on Saturday night and Emma was very helpful and polite.

  3. David Humphries says:

We had an early evening meal at The Poplar Farm Inn on Saturday 18th, what can I say. Tha food was good but the service was outstanding, the staff had a good knowledge of the beers on tap and were attentive without being over bearing. Well done Jem, Terry and Bethany.

  4. John bizzell says:

I was given a raffle ticket when I visited one of your inns and was told that I should enter the number when completing the on line survey but there isn't anywhere to do this in the questions !

  5. Gerrilyn says:

I don’t think it’s correct to say that EVERY relationship that starts as an affair will not be successful. You are on the right track though, as most of them will miss the deep trust necessary for successful restaionshipl.Integrity is tough to re-establish once you’ve blemished it.

  6. Rod Berrecloth says:

I had lunch at the Chequers,Bragbury End and was served by a young man called Martin who was a credit to your company. The food was of a very good standard, served within a good timescale and represented value for money.

  7. glenda hurstwaite says:

Sara and Chris were extremely friendly and helpful. they made it a pleasurable experience, giving advice when asked. They showed knowledge of the menu and wine list, and did not pressurize us in any way. we would definitely return.

  9. candella Stewart says:

I visited the Swallows Nest in Romsley recently and was greeted by the Manageress, Heather, who was extremely helpful, professional and welcoming. James served us and was, again, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well presented and the food was excellent. Overall we had a very good experience.

  10. Alan A Melville says:

I Spent about an hour filling in the survey all complimentary and in some detail on requested comments I clicked No for no more of 5 or 10 minutes extra questions. then clicked send. What comes up But error. and to go back to URL. I tried this but could not send it I tried 3 times. Apparantly, it said it was timed out but all my details filled in were still there when I went to try and send it again. I am upset that this has happened as I spent times answering all those questions then just went out to greet my wife who had come home to work and then found I could not send it. All lost, I may try again another day but surely it should be easier even if timed out to retrieve the my completed survey to send to you. I write as one who lectured in Marketing and Market Research and Buisiness Management. so you will realise I am not too happy about this present situation Your comments would be appreciatecd.

I ate at the Bumble Bee, Waterwells Business GL2 2AB.

It was a terrible experience - Chris took my order and I sat at table 161 at 18.43 on 23 February 2016.

Most of the bitter was off so I had to have ale in my bitter shandy - I was really surprised at this as apparently they were cleaning or similar and the restaurant was starting to get busy.

The mushrooms were served in a small earthenware pot which looked lovely but it had been microwaved and was very cold in the middle. The waitress eventually checked on me and I complained to her.

She took the mushrooms away and returned a good 5-10 minutes later with the same warmed up dish. However by that time I had already tasted cold mushrooms so was really put off the dish.

No real apology nor discount off the bill - even though I then left the restaurant after paying at the bar and they could clearly see I had not touched most of my meal.

What a shame as I often stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door who do not have a restaurant so this is the ideal location for popping in for my evening meal.

'Take away' next time I am afraid.

  12. Helen Plaskett says:

We have been visiting the Frozen Mop in Mobberley for may years - including special occasions and Christmas - and recently visited the Honey Bee in Wilmslow. We usually take with us some elderly people who like to chose from the "Set Menu". However, your new menu was a disaster. If you want to chose from the set menu now, you have to look for the "S" at the side of the dish. If you don't like pizzas or steaks there was only one choice of main course - which I did not like. This is really disappointing and the previous menu was much better and offered more choice. I think you should go back to it.

  13. Bernard Pumfrey says:

My wife and I together with two friends from Kenilworth, visited the Red Lion at Earlswood today for luncheon which was much enjoyed. The food was well cooked and equally well presented. We were served by Martin who was most polite and efficient. This was our first visit and it certainly will not be the last. On a personal note, I must compliment the Chef on the treacle tart, it was excellent.
    Thank you.
    Bernard Pumfrey, Stratford-upon-Avon.

  14. Sarah Malet says:

Warwick and Sonny at the Marsh Harrier on the Ipswich Road, Norwich, could not have been more helpful. We had an extremely good lunch there on Monday. The food and the service was exceptionally good, Thank you Warwick and Sonny, we are looking forward to returning for another meal soon.

  15. james grainger says:

I had a meal with 3 guests at the Kestrel in Harrogate on Saturday 27 February. As usual we were welcomed into the restaurant and the food was up to its usual high standard. We were seated and waited upon promptly, but the meals were a long time coming. The overall experience however was enjoyable.

  16. KAY DRABBLE says:

I HAVE HAD 2 MEALS AT THE ADMIRAL RODNEY IN SHEFFIELD THIS WEEK .THE STAFF ARE VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY VERY GOOD SERVICE .THE FOOD WAS HOT AND DELICIOUS .IT THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN SHEFFIELD 6 .THERE IS NOTHING YOU COULD TO IN PROVE IT. THANKYOU

  17. Jim Cassidy says:

My family and I visited " The Melville Inn " on Saturday 13th February for lunch, we all had the 2 course special menue with 2 Prawn Cocktail & 1 Soup starter followed by 3 Hamburgers & 1 Fish all with chips.
Firstly the soap was not warm enough ( for a very cold day) the Prawns in the prawn cocktail where tasteless and the slice of avocado was tiny, the fish ( COD ) much like the prawns no taste, hamburgers where cold and tasteless, best part was the decoration & the log fires but the place would also benefit from some other heating if you are seated away from the fires.
We where very disappointed but may return for a pint of beer and seat at the fire.

  18. Tony Screech says:

    Excellent food and service

  19. David Dean says:

    The Old Stables Fontwell.

We used the Old Stables as a meeting place because of its mid way location.

The food and service were all excellent and in particular our waitress Lianne couldn't have been more helpful.

All round a most pleasant experience.

  20. Philip Blanchard says:

We have not been to that restaurant for a few weeks, and found the service excellent Hayley looked after us very well and the food was lovey, thanks for everything

  28. George Parkins says:

We visited the Vintage Inns 'Stretton Fox' today and tried the new menu. My wife looks forward to the starter 'breaded mushrooms' and was completely disappointed with the new receipt. Gone was the 'crunch' and the texture was almost bland while the accompanying dip did not compliment the mushrooms at all. Please can we revert back to the much loved original

  29. bernadette says:

I was in the Hawes Inn in South Queensferry today with a friend.
    We arrived at 11.30a.m.
Breakfast is only supposed to last till 11 a.m.
However, Lee the waitress was superb. She stated how much she enjoys her work and genuinely likes to see customers happy.
So she rustled up a delicious bacon roll and eggs and tomatoes.
Really lovely to find a place where you get treated in a way that makes you feel wanted.
It was great. So please give Lee our thanks again.

  30. Rosy Curtis says:

Came for a meal yesterday evening. Staff courteous, helpful, efficient and friendly. Meal was LOVELY. Will definitely visit again.

  31. Tracey Adams says:

My husband and I booked to have sunday lunch (27.09.15) at the Devils Dkye Hotel for 2pm. When we arrived we were shown to our table and given a menu. After 15 minutes (thought this was a little too long) someone came and took our order and drinks. Our starters arrived after 20 minutes so didn't think anymore about the delay. We then waited 90 minutes for our main course, we were told after an hour it was on its way. At no time did anyone say there was a delay or even apologise. I asked for horseradish and was told they had run out. Whilst we were paying a large plastic bottle of the stuff was sitting on counter, apparently I was one-time.

We use your chain of restaurants regularly but feel that we spent £49 on a very disappointing visit.

  32. Sheyla says:

  34. Norma Divine says:

We had a wonderful meal last night made that much more special by the impeccable service of Wael at The Red Lion, Alvechurch.

  35. Lynne Thompson says:

    The Otter @ Shepshed Leics
We were a table of 13, and served by Hannah.
She was very patient, efficient, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble.
We all agreed that our Meals were all Excellent, and so was the Service.

  36. Robert Locke says:

I booked a table for 4 at The Curlew at 287 Christchurch road last night 6August15. The restaurant is nicely decorated but needs "sprucing" up a little with a walls wipe down at least or even painted..could be done overnight actually. Both toilets need a lot to be desired,Male and Female...no mirror in the gents, sink dirty and pans filthy,{at only 2000hrs}...The meals were lovely if you had the various pies...i however had the steak which Hayley ,our attentive waitress, was within minutes asked to take it back...1.The plate was barely warm..2.The steak ,mushroom, onion "thing" was cold ,...the only part of my meal that was acceptable were the 'CHIPS'..., I was quite fed up with this as i was really looking forward to a lovely meal...the meal really WAS not up to any standard at all....i was asked if i would like a replacement but in lieu of how long i had to wait for it to arrive initially i declined the offer and decided to wait for the others to finish their main course so that i could order the English cheese board....which was nice and would of been really nice if normal cheese biscuits {jacobs, water biscuits}were presented and not the tasteless ones that were. All in all ,from my point of view a disaster of a meal, which as i paid the whole bill, ruined the evening out. May i just say that if hot food is being presented then PLEASE instruct your Chefs to have the plates piping hot,...secondly ...really clean your toilets.

  37. Nigel Gaunt says:

Yvette our server was superb very attentive and fun to talk to.
As always the food at the Trent Lock Inn was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

  38. Robert Ireland says:

Fox Cub Longton Lancs . We were a party of four, three Had roast beef on the Sunday lunch menu, the beef was extremely tough, " inedible " after informing the staff they eventually brought some turkey to the table . Me my wife and the rest of the party was extremely disappointed with whole experience . I would not recommend the fox cub to anyone , and I will not be going there again

  39. Christine cousins says:

Excellent food excellent service at duke of York in Woodbridge, I will definitely recommend it.

  40. A Hornby says:

On Friday 10/7/15 we went to the New Inn at Scarcroft I ordered meals I had order before and enjoyed but to me it seemed that the prices remained the same but the quantity had been very much reduced, a friend who was with me ordered a steak and could not eat it was fatty and tough. we complained and was give 25% off the bill which was £9 the steak cost £14.50 will not be returning in the near future

After getting a receipt with a survey invitation or a survey invitation card, you have a chance to take an online survey to give your feedback based on your shopping experience. Here are some useful tips for you to complete a survey and win big prizes.

1. Take care of your store receipt.

Many store surveys require receipt information, so you need to keep it safe after shopping or dining. The details about your purchase are presented on the receipt, such as the date and time of your visit, store number, survey code and so forth. The information is very important if you decide to take this survey. In addition, a coupon or validation code is sometimes offered as a thank-you gift for your feedback at the end of a survey. And you need to write it down on your receipt for the offer on your next visit.

2. Check the survey URL.

Prior to inputting the survey URL printed on your receipt into the required field of a browser or a search engine, please check it carefully as it sometimes may be long and complex. An incorrect survey URL will not bring you to the survey page.

3. Give honest feedback.

Companies roll out surveys to collect you customers’ feedback so that they can provide better products and services. Your candid evaluation will help them do better. Read questions carefully and answer the questions based on your own experience to give useful suggestions.

4. Read sweepstakes terms and rules.

Usually, as an encouragement for you to express opinions, you can be entered into a sweepstakes at the end of a survey. You are highly suggested to read the sweepstakes rules carefully to make sure you are doing the right thing. The rules will show you eligibility requirements, survey expiration date, guidance about how to get a prize and more. In short, many details in the Terms and Rules deserve your attention. One thing to note is that the link to the rules is not in an obvious position and you always can find it in the bottom of the survey page.

5. Provide correct contact information.

Some surveys require you to offer your personal information such as your full name, email address, phone number, etc. The contact details will be used to notify you once you have won the sweepstakes prize. Your information will be kept confidentially. If you still have concerns, please read the privacy policy before taking each survey.

6. Keep contacted with stores.

Some surveys will ask you whether you would like to be contacted to receive the latest promotional information and surveys. You are suggested to choose to keep in touch with the merchants because they will send you some useful information on promotions, coupons and new surveys. With these information, you can save more and get more chances to win big prizes.
