Was told I could enter argos survey when I picked up my order. I was given a card telling me what to do. Went on line and trolled through a full page of argos survey links with no joy unless th I s is the correct one. You need to sort this out or stop telling customers to do the survey. Don't even know if this is a scam or genuine.

today at the ayr store customer service was terrible, my order was sitting at the counter for over 7 minutes while the staff chatted amongst themselves I went over and said that my stuff was sitting and had a cheeky little madam say I must have missed my number,,, well no I never, orders well after mine were being shouted and gone whilst nothing else was happening!!!!! then the cheeky member of staff said youll need to wait because your receipt says 10 minutes and you wont get it until then. I asked to speak to a manager and the assistant then went across the floor and I heard them saying not very nice things about me with her back to me!!!! little does she know I have super sensitive hearing clinically diagnosed!!!!!! the supposed manager a female the came over and bit my face off whilst hiding her name badge and leaning over the desk like it was a bar, not very customer friendly at all. In my line of work this is a disciplinary matter!!I used to frequently shop at this argos store but for sure will never be across the door again. Decency goes a long way in the customer service department. I would also have appreciated speaking to the real manager of the store whom I have complemented on many occasions, a male!!!!! Very unsatisfied with the service today expecting apology from store and hoping that staff undergo further customer relations training.!!!!!

I live in Louth, Lincolnshire, where there is an Argos store. I have shopped at the store since it opened. Every time I have used the store I have experienced excellent service, politeness, and willingness to help with my shopping. Until yesterday.
My husband and I went in the store to buy a toaster. I found what I wanted straight away from a brochure on the counter. A young man asked if I needed help. I showed him the picture of the toaster, which was in the store. He then asked if I had Argos card. I told him I used to have but you cancelled it because I hadn't used it for some time. Did I want another one? No thank you. He carried on with ordering the toaster then produced some papers from under the counter. What are these I asked. You asked for an Argos card. No, I don't want one thank you. My husband paid with his card for the toaster. The toaster was being fetched from the store, which when it arrived was the wrong one. I was ready to leave by this point but the transaction had gone through for payment. The right toaster was ordered, my husband went back to the till to have the amount corrected. Another problem arose where the young man found it difficult to complete the transaction between payment, cancellation and new payment.
We walked out eventually with the right toaster wondering if we will ever use the store again.
    Sincerely
    Susan Langdale

After getting a receipt with a survey invitation or a survey invitation card, you have a chance to take an online survey to give your feedback based on your shopping experience. Here are some useful tips for you to complete a survey and win big prizes.

1. Take care of your store receipt.

Many store surveys require receipt information, so you need to keep it safe after shopping or dining. The details about your purchase are presented on the receipt, such as the date and time of your visit, store number, survey code and so forth. The information is very important if you decide to take this survey. In addition, a coupon or validation code is sometimes offered as a thank-you gift for your feedback at the end of a survey. And you need to write it down on your receipt for the offer on your next visit.

2. Check the survey URL.

Prior to inputting the survey URL printed on your receipt into the required field of a browser or a search engine, please check it carefully as it sometimes may be long and complex. An incorrect survey URL will not bring you to the survey page.

3. Give honest feedback.

Companies roll out surveys to collect you customers’ feedback so that they can provide better products and services. Your candid evaluation will help them do better. Read questions carefully and answer the questions based on your own experience to give useful suggestions.

4. Read sweepstakes terms and rules.

Usually, as an encouragement for you to express opinions, you can be entered into a sweepstakes at the end of a survey. You are highly suggested to read the sweepstakes rules carefully to make sure you are doing the right thing. The rules will show you eligibility requirements, survey expiration date, guidance about how to get a prize and more. In short, many details in the Terms and Rules deserve your attention. One thing to note is that the link to the rules is not in an obvious position and you always can find it in the bottom of the survey page.

5. Provide correct contact information.

Some surveys require you to offer your personal information such as your full name, email address, phone number, etc. The contact details will be used to notify you once you have won the sweepstakes prize. Your information will be kept confidentially. If you still have concerns, please read the privacy policy before taking each survey.

6. Keep contacted with stores.

Some surveys will ask you whether you would like to be contacted to receive the latest promotional information and surveys. You are suggested to choose to keep in touch with the merchants because they will send you some useful information on promotions, coupons and new surveys. With these information, you can save more and get more chances to win big prizes.
