    we went to eat at the el fenix on buckner blvd /casa linda on Thursday September 21,2017.
    they seated us upon arrival. waitress ask what to drink. she had brought cips and queso when she came . brought drinks.ask if we were ready to order. we gave her our order and in record time she returned with our food. food was hot and very good .received drink refills. manger stopped bye our table and ask how our meal was. we said great no problems. finished meal .bill arrived on time. went to pay and there were no prailenes. none what so ever. now that is a treat I missed. over all we had a great enjoyable dinner.

    Stopped by the El Fenix in Greenville, TX on 20 Jun 2017 an ordered 2 chicken tortilla soup. I paid up front at approximately 12:20 PM. After waiting 42 minutes, I finally received my food. Can you believe this? I watched people coming and going in the restaurant and I have to wait 42 minutes! I also watched the hostess do both jobs, hostess and cashier during the lunch rush hour! Give a big thumbs up for this person because she was doing a great job! This was a bad day of this restaurant! Not sure I will return.... customer service should be #1. There are a lot of restaurants in area with much better service! By the way the con queso was not the best; try Cotton Patch; theirs is much better.

    We ate the El Fenix last week and our lunches were not up to par. First I ordered a lunch with two enchiladas that were burnt and the guacamole was hardly any. And when asked if I could get a little more I was told they had run out. How do you run out of that at one pm. I have always loved coming to this place but am looking for a better place to eat if the food doesn't improve. This was at the one on 20 and Cooper in Arlington,Texas. And the pralines were stale. Please see to this because I love your chili. And the wait staff are wonderful.

    WONDERFUL MEAL...SERVICE SUPURB....BEST OF ALL WED. SPECIAL PRICE....WISH YOU HAD THAT PRICE EVERY DAY...WOULD BE ABLE TO COME MORE OFTEN......AM 87 YRS OLD...THESE BARGAINS HELP US OLDIES BUT GOODIES.
