    I received horrible service!!!
    Pep Boys did my last oil change which went okay. I used my Fleet account.
    Yesterday:
    I had a 3:00 pm appointment; which I made online. My car was ready 1 hour and 45 minutes later to find out the wrong oil, conventional was put into my Mercedes Benz, not synthetic oil by a non- English speaking employee Edgardo; who could not explain what happen. The oil was then drained, not flushed. I drove the car home and it smoked all the way , I then returned to find out that oil was spilled all on the engine. Finger prints were even left on the side of the car. Now I have a oil spill in my car part at home. I am so unhappy with the service provided.

    After leaving work, I discovered that I had a staple in my back left tire. I inspected it and found out if I removed it the tire would go flat. I then went to my Pepboys. Upon arrival, I told the attendant the problem. He told me I would probably have to buy a new tire. I told him to put the spare or spacesaver on the car. A few minutes later and it was done. I then proceeded home. Upon further inspection, I found out that my spare was not checked to make sure it was properly inflated. Thanks Pepboys. I can see its Safety First with you.

    I don't even know where to start - from the beginning to end was the worst experience for me - lost employees playing games treating there job like a joke - I saved my money for years to buy my dream truck - its beautiful not a scratch on it and its 10 years old - interior is perfect - they treated my truck without a care in the world - it makes my angry to keep and work so hard for something in life to have people treat me and my property so poorly - Pepboys has the same problem that a lot of big companies have - ordering online & connecting it with a store just don't work - it took 4 days for then to get it right and still failed - a few calls to me trying to up sell other products while they had my truck shows me there just taking advantage of people - then when I confronted them at the store about it - they simply called me a liar - when I was younger I would have reacted differently - probably with more anger - now at my age I have learned that they all deserve each other - I will go to a different tire company and pay $36 to have my tires rotated & balanced simply because I just don't want to go back there and continue the abuse - I do get some sort of peace knowing I dont have to go back there - and there stuck dealing with incompetency all day long. goodluck

    I called for appt. asked price for rear brake job was told 59.-- + Addl parts if nessasary.
    Which I consider normal.
    They inspected car gave estimate over 800.for front &rear. I had the front done maybe a year ago and have a warranty on them. So OK they did rear,but the price kept changing&would not show me the old parts,I sense a scam here.Brakes are still making noise.

    Would like to take a few moments to discuss the customer service at the Pepboys #836 5439 Rosemead Blvd Temple City, California 91780.

    Our family have been customers at this location since it first opened it doors and have always been very satisfied with the service we've received both in the service and retail departments.

    Today was the final straw that is causing me to write you. I was in the store around 10AM to purchase some items. When I went to the cashier to make a payment, it was an experience I hope no other patron will ever have to go through, a young man named Jovon motioned me to step forward, he looked at what I wanted to purchased, walked away and told the other young man to ring me out even though he was busy with a customer. Jovon was not friendly and acted like I was inconveniencing him by being there. Then I saw him standing behind the register drinking something out of a black container, which I thought was very unprofessional. I also notice that there are nothing but very young people working there that know nothing about any automotive products.

    The retail department has really gone downhill the last few months, don't know what the problem is, but certainly hope it is rectified soon, as it does not represent the standard of Pep Boys.

    went in to buy 2 tires, was charged $45.00 installition fee, was not informed of this by the service person. If I would have been I would not have purchased the tires. I have never paid an extra to have tires installed. Also the tech wasted time checking under the hood that I did not request. Took well over an hour to install 2 tires and get ripped off. I will never set foot in a pepboys again for anything.

    Went in to purchase a locking device to lock the latch on my box trailer only to use it and then find out that the thieves just had to pull the pin on the "ball" device on my pickup and back another truck up to it, insert it and drive away with my $35,000 travel trailer. Friend asked why I did not also buy a locking pin for the hitch ball and I replied I did not know they had such things. My ignorance and the lack of information has been a very costly lesson.

    JOANN TAYLOR at the white marsh pep boys store 89 when out of her way to help me with a starter that I thought had gone bad .after the test she found the bosch battery that was only five months old was bad. JOANN had a new free battery installed and I was on my way with a charge under ten dollars.I WILL BE DEALING WITH JOANN TAYLOR at pep boys in the future. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
