    I like your recent revamping of the cooler display cases. But there are 2 craft beers which I very much like which you don't carry....... Deschutes Obsidian Stout, and Alaskan Smoked Porter.

    The fish I had purchased at Safeway said 50% off the price in the box. I did not read the tiny print beneath it that said valid only if through cashier. I paid my groceries through the self checkout, as I always do, since the lineup at the one till that was open was too long. It was only after I got home did I realize I had purchased the fish at full price instead of at 50% off.

    So, Safeway, WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER LISTING IT AT 50% OFF if we only pay through the cashier? That is truly unfair. Discounts should apply electronically through self checkout stands as well.

    So many thing wrong. On the plus: the box carriers were great. One asked me if he could help me in any way at any time. I have a disability and was using my walking canes. I needed help because I don't know how to get Just 4 U on my new I-phone. I asked to use the store computer. The lady at the service desk had her back turned from the consumers and was talking at length on her cell phone. She closed her conversation saying,"See you at home". It is very difficult some days for me to be on my feet. She did not know how to work the computer. I ask if there was someone who could and she thought about getting help but didn't. She was very nice but very untrained. I wasted about 20 minutes with her. She did give me one of my coupons but not the other offers. She said that I had to go through check out to ask that cashier for help with the other special on the Rice A Roni. I should have got it for $0.89. She agreed and still I came home it it was rung up for $2.50. I had to ask the Box person to get me another chicken and Ice cream. He got the wrong one. So I told him to get any flavor in the low fat. He said there was none but I know there were several. Finally the checker went back and got me strawberry. Perfect, but not low fat....but I said it was fine. I only fault the person behind the help desk because it snow balled starting with her. She was extremely nice but obviously needed more training. The checker and the box person really tried hard even though they failed. Now, I have to go back and get the corrected price for the rice. I have found that several Safeway stores like Factoria, Maple Valley etc....do not really understand the just for U. If I had a working I-phone it would maybe be fine but I am just transitioning. They rarely can get the store computer working and explain how it all work. Also, sometimes they don't remove the just for U tags or it is marked and not on the web site. I have been trying to transition to Fred Meyer and Albertsons. I won't give the employees name because they all could use help. However, the young box helper men were great and one was named Andrew and the other one that was there at the same time was really great. Maybe they should be promoted in the computer area and people skills area.

    Your survey sight will not take the time info on my receipt! On my last visit 12/12/13 the
    Lady in bakery was not very willing to assist me in getting rolls that were not in the bis but on the bakery cart. She directed someone else to help me though she was not busy! Define toy

    Often sale products are not available. Lacks the friendly service of the very nearby Giant.
    Can't get my extra-large eggs.
    At the meat service counter, I've had to call out to get any service from the three (yes, 3!) men chatting behind the counter.
    The deli service is , well, almost non-existant. Often, there's no one there, And, one service person was unaware that they carried a product that was a self-service item right outside of the counter in the department.
    Often, there is no one in the customer service area.
    When I lived in Vienna, Va. Safeway was my regular market. In Rehoboth Beach, DE it is very dissappointing.

    The pharmacist at the Vons Bernado Center Drive location was non responsive rude, and out of control.

    On September 11, at 1:30 pm, based on the service managers suggestion , I went to the Pharmacy and filled out the required paperwork for a flu shot after which I was and asked to wait in an adjoining room. I was told it would be a few minutes. After 20, 25, and 30 minute intervals I inquired about the status of the shot. I was again told it would only be a few more minutes.
    After 35 minutes, since my frozen food purchases were melting in my cart, I again left the room and asked the pharmacist to please provide the shot. He in an arrogant and curt manner told me that he was busy and that I should go back and wait in the room. I lost my patience and then requested that the appointment and my charge be terminated which he then found the time to enter his computer spending over five minutes reversing the original transaction. Seeing this, I asked that since he was now free could he provide the shot. His reply, again arrogantly, was I am now too busy and he then walked away..

    I have been a patron of the Pavillions market in West Hollywood since the very day it opened. They upgraded the market a few years ago, but it has always been clean, well merchandised, and attractive. The employees must not only be well trained, but hand picked for their innate "people skills". I have never had anything bad to say about this market.....well...with the exception of a strong suspicion that their $100 dollar gift card for survey is bogus. Your chances of winning the lottery with all numbers is better than winning a stinky 100 dollar gift card. Each and every time I shop, I fill one out. I live close by, so sometimes I shop twice a day. I have been doing this for several months. I have gotten four callbacks from my survey comments to date...but not one dime to thank me for my due diligence and long term patronage.

    Friday morning 9:30 Canby store. Ten people in line waiting to check out. One checker. People still shopping had to weave thru the line to get to the next isle to continue shopping, making comments about the line of people, waiting in line. This is a very common sight at this store & I'm tired of being a part of it. The eleventh person stepping in line ask if there was another checker & she said, " I'll call again." She had to call twice? You have too much competition to continue to let this happen, & it does.
