Cafe Rio was started in 1997 by Steve and Tricia Stanley in St. George, Utah. In December 2004, Bob and Kathleen Nilsen, Spencer K Hill, along with SKM/Apax Partners purchased the chain, which at the time had six restaurants.     I placed an online order to be ready by 11:15 at the Valley Fair Mall Café Rio location; by the time that I arrived my order had not even been ready and was told by Breeana that it would be 25 minutes so I went away and came back 30 minutes later only to have the order still not ready. I understand that they were short staffed but I wasn't offered anything while I waited until my order was completed another 30 minutes later. I am very frustrated because my money and time is important as everyone else. I then David came up at the right before my order was ready and finally offered me a drink but by that time I was very upset and declined. Once I received my order I returned to work only to have the order completely wrong the online order was supposed to be the special which was chile relleno with rice and no beans, however, what I got was an order that had black beans and rice and one order with nothing but charged 10.02 per order. I will never return to this establishment. Poor customer service as well as order taking.

    Serving person was very good. Asked how I wanted my taco and told him first time here and need plain taco, he told me what it was and then asked about items I might want, but I didn't.
    Taco was outstanding. Good amount of chicken and lettuce and sour cream. Good flavor and finger licking good. Will try again before long.

    People is friendly, food is good, the price should be fine but I don't like that for the sauce and the kind of the meat is an extra charge.
