    On Feb 25 2017, Best Buy nearly lost a customer.
    I am a loyal customer and go to Best Buy because I want to see Best Buy's door stay open.
    I had a specific product in mind and went to the store which, I was told, had them in stock. The store is in Irvine California on Lake Forest Drive.
    The first person to offer me help realized they had a radio problem and walked away. She did not hand me off, she simply walked away from me.
    The next person that I approached was involved in a conversation but broke off to help me. However I don't think they ever got over breaking their conversation. I got a cursory tour of the store, and then was told they probably don't have the item. Thank God they were then able to go back to the group of employees and start a conversation up again.
    At this point I was angry but I was there to also look at some other items. I was approached by another employee and basically told the employee, in no uncertain terms, I didn't need their help. Turned out he was a manager and he saved Best Buy a long term customer. He took the time to ask me what I needed, asked me what my problem was, and then took the SKU number, that I had already shown the other employees and found my item. He actually showed some customer service common sense. Were it not for Nate, this long term Best Buy customer would probably not go to Best Buy again, or at least that Best Buy store. There are other choices.
    I know Nate was just doing his job, but that's the kind of thing that Best Buy needs to celebrate. I was very angry and Nate stepped up to resolve my issue.

    Had to pick-up my new phone so while I was at the store I inquired about a modem and router to update my system. The tech that handled the phone felt she didn't have the knowledge to help me with both these items so she price matched the and back ordered the model modem I was interested in. Then she got a more qualified tech to find the best match of router. He offered up two good choices but didn't try to push me into buying the priciest unit. Then he price matched with Amazon. Even though the store was busy they both took time to answer my questions. GREAT JOB!!!!

    Went to Purchase a TV, Was told needed to "add" new "comparable up to date technology wiring and accessories'?; Need a "new Wall Mount for TV?" offered a WM Tilt for $134.98 Amazon has a same brand full motion WM for $129.00 same brand. Also, supposed to be offered free deliverey but, GK Squad needs to Mount TV, WM Tilt, Set up and "Basic Audio Set Up" worth $215. Called next day after searching o Internet and no one can find store (#1517 Richmond,Tx.) Rep ("was last day at work?"-mI was told)neither none can give an answer, was set up? What a service.     Your Store Rep. named Matt at the Sherman Texas Store was very helpful and patient with me as I am not a Teckey person and do not know alot of teckie terms. Matt was totally understandable and went over and beyond to answer my questions. You should have more professional young men like Matt to help us older folk who still know how to dial a rotary phone but know Jack about some of the modern day tech. But with people like Matt we can learn.

    Jeremy was very helpful in getting my tablet, IPad and new IPhone 6+ working with the email accounts. He had to do a lot of problem solving to find out why all three devices would not take my email and would not send or receive. He was very professional and patient as the three devices had different issues. When I got my tablet about a year and half ago, email never worked and relied on my phone. He fixed all three but he totally stumped a few times but did not give up. You have an employee that really puts customer service first.

    A few months ago I bought a laptop which had to be serviced, so I went to the Geek Squad on 3/17/15 after having a couple of computer savvy friends try to fix it and couldn't. I was greeted by Bert, now Bert my hero! who took the laptop and informed me that if it couldn't be fixed there, it would have to be sent back to the company. Bert was so kindly and informed me they would let me know by the next day. The very next morning I was called to pick up my fixed computer that was just like new now. What a relief! The Geek Squad is amazing; quick, efficient, and gives excellent customer service. I'd recommend Bert to handle customer's problems to anyone.

    My family and I would really like to thank VARTAN and JAKE for their help. We went to go exchange our TV and wanted to know about a possible upgrade.
