    I was in the store and on my sales receipt, I went to take the survery to win free gas for a year. However, it clearly states that I cannot do so. What gives? I'd like a chance to win gas for a year. False advertising. Thanks for nothing

    The service in Port Royal SC SUCKS. No one is behind the counters and I asked the asshole who is the manager a question and was told to get in line. I returned the product to the shelf area and left and will not be coming back. Crappy service to a customer of over 10 years and 40 in the community is not accepted by me or my other neighbors.

    9/13/2016 I purchased a throttle positioning sensor from advanced auto . It was defective. I returned the part on 9/14/2016 which I was reimbursed for the cost of the part , but refused to reimburse me for the labor since I was not a commercial customer I had paid one of their commercial customers for the repair which I had a receipt for,.
    The moral of the story is: If you are not a commercial customer don't shop at advance! It didn't matter that I have bought several thousands of dollars of product from Advance .

    I needed a brake light bulb for my Honda CRV, initially I purchased the bulbs at Walmart. But their computer told me the wrong one, which I did not realize until I returned home. So instead of going back over the mountain to Walmart, I went to our local Advance Auto Parts. Their computer showed the same bulb as Walmart which I knew was not going to work. But they did have some that looked like the one that was in my CRV. So the associate that was assisting me offered to go out to my car to make sure it was the right one. It was so that job was done and it didn't cost me anything extra. Plus the bulbs were cheaper than the ones at Walmart!!! Fabulous!!!

    Stopped at the Quitman,GA Advance Auto for some plain ole engine oil, not synthetic. The 5 qt containers were $25-29 dollars, which is $5-6 a qt. I thought it was quite high, but bought a 5qt for $25. Decided to stop by Freds; the same oil was $3.75 a qt. Why is Advance's oil worth $1.25 more per qt? it ain't.
    I will not shop at Advance Auto again. Either the Quitman store is intentionally ripping off the locals or corporate is out of tough with oil prices.

    I went to local Advance to get a windshield wiper blade after my driver's side blade flew off into the other lane on I-79. It took two of the store employees and about a half hour before they could even get the wiper on my car. They thought they were all good, but when I left and proceeded home, the blade came off again. The replacement blade is now broken, and it won't stop raining log enough for me to get back to the Advance and get a new less broken wiper... not to mention that the two fellows who helped me are likely to try again... which really does not fill me with confidence. Never had any problems there before really until this Chevy Sonic... what is so crazy confusing about the Sonic wipers? Oh well.
