    Two items that we purchased today, at the new Safeway store on Ygnacio Valley Rd in Walnut Creek, that were supposed to be on sale, rang up on the receipt with their regular price showing. These items were clearly marked with sale tags directly below them on the shelf. Unfortunately, we did not check our receipt closely until we got home. I am stopping by this Safeway on my way home tomorrow to get a refund of the difference.

    i go into the safeway store in Lebanon 1558. the staff there is awesome they don;t wait to call up extra cashiers when needed. i went in last night for some apple pie filling and they were out. they manager came out to look and was very surprised that they didn;t have any. he kept checking trying to find some and by the time i left the store he had come up with some filling for me to take home. their floral person Mickey makes the most awesome floral arrangements i have seen. i always go back there and ask her and i have never been disappointed.

    Denise K. at store #1706 on 1637 North Trekell Rd, Casa Grande, AZ is the most exceptional employee I have run across in a long time! Efficient, effective, polite, humorous, always has a smile and genuinely likes her job. I can not say enough nice things about her and how dedicated she seems to her job. She genuinely likes her customers and it shows as she is a joy to be around.
    When I shop at this Safeway Denise IS the person I look for when checking out. No matter what choice of check out line I have, if Denise is there I get in hers!

    I shopped at a local Safeway store # 1643 in Medford, Oregon on 11/25/2015. At the service Deli I was waited on by a Lady named BETH. I received the WORST SERVICE I have EVER encountered by this counter person! Not only was she rude, a 5 minute transaction took over 15 minutes to complete. Note, I when working I was a regional sales and training manager for a National firm. This Lady would have been written up and reassigned , if not fired.

    The product I wanted didn't have sufficient quantity and I asked if I did my other shopping if a fresh batch would be available. The answer was No, the product was ready and my order would be filled as soon as it was brought out from the back preparation area. Ten minutes later I was still standing at the counter with no product. I asked Beth again if I should come back later and was ignored as she rushed off to help other customers. When the product did arrive she filled the order of other customers with the product I had been waiting for. The result was that I got 1/2 of what I had ordered and no apology from Beth. I was told if I wanted more I could again wait for additional product to be prepared.

    My wife really likes the food from this Deli and due to her poor health / stage 4 Cancer, I do ALL the shopping. I will never purchase anything from this deli when this Beth person is assisting customers. Thank you for your time, and I do regret having to write this negative review.     I recently stayed in Astoria, Oregon for a couple of nights and shopped at your store there for some personal items for use on my vacation. The customer service at check out was some of the best I ever experienced and I've been shopping at Safeway in the Northwest for the past 15-years. The checked was a very tall young man named Rob. Don't know anything else about him other than I wish I saw more positive attitudes like his pleasant demeanor during my check outs at other Safeway stores. I think the people of Astoria are lucky to have this young man working at their Safeway. I'm sorry I don't have a last name to provide. I hope he can be recognized and encouraged to continue to set such a great example for his peers. This is the kind of thing that makes me a return customer. I just felt like someone needed to know and the store was busy during my visit so I didn't want to look for a manager. Thank you. Gina

    I leave don't many comments . I wish this survey was better. It is too complex. I just spent fifteen minutes, working my way through spam, also making sure this is where I complete survey . Normally I wouild just give up. Not this evening, I had a full day at my job and still I had to run to the store late. I really do not like leaving my home during a weeknight.
    now on to positive: This is why I shop only a Safeway during the week. its in my neighborhood. it is safe , clean , new friendly, smell good by the meat and fish dept.! (always) this is my store ... so I say. I'm at my neighborhood supermarket shopping here. The Cashiers keep me coming back! Like Tawnya. her hard work saved me $17.00! I have to say that because truly . I didn't look at the sales.., I was going to walk out paying the same price with 35% of the product of this sale. Tawnya realized I was not getting the sales price and let me know before the sale was finalized she came around to place the items in my cart , she located $4 in coupons I had missed!

    Please show her how much quality Employees mean to you.

    I shopped at Safeway yesterday and the safewayjust4u prices did not ring up right, so I had to go back and get 3,94 cents back, also I see I did not get my 40cents off of gas, I spent 93.00. so whats up with that? How do I get my offers?

    I got to met the new produce manager Dan today. I was impressed at how good the produce department looked. He also ways of cooking veggies which I felt was really good. I enjoyed my shopping experience in produce. Lynn was very courteous checker and Jess was very helpful and courteous in bagging my groceries.

    Your survey you want us to do is difficult to find. Not thought out very well so one can get on and get it filled out with out a lot of looking.

    Safeway makes food shopping fun. Finding 50% off discount stickers on items is like seeing gold dust in a miners pan. Spotting digital coupons to scan with my smartphone is yet another "winning" game for discovery. Hunting for hidden gems in the sale rack in the back of the store is always an added adventure.
    The very best part is the way Safeway employees are always helpful makes the trip an enjoyable experience. Thanks you Safeway for you community supoort as well.

    I live 3 blocks from a Safeway that I drive past, to go to other brand name grocery stores. I go to the other stores because my local Safeway is such a sad experience. The selection of food is poor, and the staff mostly seem to be socially or mentally challenged. A few days ago I was in a rush and stopped at the store in question to grab a bag of dog food. There were difficulties with my first two attempts to pay at the cash register, as my first payment methods were declined.

    A very conscientious, emotionally intelligent, and professional cashier by the name of Lakeisha treated the situation professionally and with discretion and thereby also allowed me to maintain my dignity in public. I eventually paid with cash but did so in the middle of a customer experience where I was not left to feel self conscious about what happened.

    Please note that the type of emotional intelligence exhibited by Lakeisha is a quality rarely found in business environments today; her professional manner would be a credit to any business that was lucky enough to employ her, not to mention what a standout she is in such a clueless store as the Safeway where she works.

    I should hope that Safeway's corporate office would call upon her to train all Safeway employees on how to interact with customers, sending her all over the state of Virginia or all over the country if necessary, with the goal of making the shopping experience something that Safeway actually cares about... in contrast to how it appears now, which is quite the opposite.

    I was in your store 1451 on 122nd street in Portland Oregon. I just want to comment on you customer service. Allison was the checker and Albert was the bagger- I know this because I was provided a feedback survey card. I just wanted to compliment both of them on their superior service. It was Easter sunday and the store was very busy (we spent $182), but they were both smiling, quick and efficient. It was nice to see their smiling faces, especially considering they were working on easter sunday. I usually shop your store on Highland(they have a gas station at the highland store) and drive by your 122nd store going to and from work. But I believe I will make much more of an effort to visit your store on 122nd because of it's atmosphere and positive employee attitude's. Job- Very well done. David Carter Portland Oregon

    Safeway service is by far superior to other stores I've shopped in. I have been shopping at the Pollock Pines Safeway for 22 years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is helpful and will drop what they're doing to answer a question or show you where to find a product. I frequently make purchases from the bakery and deli and always enjoy the fresh items there. The pharmacy is the best, Patty & Debbie are awesome. I really have no complaints when it comes to buying from Safeway.
